It's been over a year now and my first published book is about to be released. It has been a journey. One of the great learning events of my life. I am full of both apprehension and excitement. Will people like it? What if someone laughs at me? What if it fails? These are questions you have to ask yourself.
My answer to all these questions is just believe. Believe that people will like it. Believe that people will not laugh at it. Believe that it will not fail. I took a chance when I published the book. It taught me much about myself. It is a book to inspire the young to read. It has also inspired the old to try something outside the norm of the everyday and believe that they can be more.
My first book is a fanciful tale of "The Destiny of Solil Akwee." It is a children's book in a poetic style that sparks the curiosity of the young reader for words and their meaning. It is my goal is to inspire youngsters to read and expand their vocabularies. I hope you will enjoy it and learn.
